खूबसूरत और चार्मिंग डोनल बिष्ट का जन्म 27 अगस्त 1994 को अलवर राजस्थान में हुआ था. डोनल ने 2015 में एयरलाइन्स सीरियल में एक जर्नलिस्ट के रोल से टीवी इंडस्ट्री में कदम रखा था और उसके बाद एक दीवाना था में वो शनाया बिष्ट का किरदार और रूप - मर्द का नया स्वरुप में इशिका पटेल का किरदार करने के बाद लाइम लाइट में आई. इसी बीच डोनल ने सोनी टीवी के क्राइम पैट्रॉल की एक कहानी (छल, एपिसोड 723, 724) में सारिका ढिल्लों के साथ एक महत्वपूर्ण किरदार निभाया.
डोनल की पहली वेब सीरीज 2020 की
टिया एंड राज थी और उसके बाद
इन्होने 2021 में बिगबॉस के
पन्द्रहवें सीजन में हिस्सा लिया था और अठारवें दिन ये बिग बॉस के घर से बाहर हो
गई.
डोनल की पहली मूवी थी 2021 में रिलीज़ हुई
द मंथ ऑफ़ जुलाई। इस फिल्म को रिलीज़ होने में 7 साल का समय लगा था. बिग बॉस के बाद डोनल ने एक
तेलुगु फिल्म में काम किया है जिसका नाम है
डेयर टु स्लीप. डोनल का कहना है की उनका कोई प्लान नहीं था साउथ इंडियन फिल्म में आने का मगर
ये बस ऐसे ही हो गया. उनका मानना है कि साउथ इंडियन इंडस्ट्री आज के समय में काफी
आगे है और बॉलीवुड में कई फिल्म साउथइंडियन से रीमेक बनी हैं ऐसे में हो
सकता है की उनकी फिल्म का रीमेक भी बॉलीवुड में बन जाए.
डोनल ने कॉलेज के समय में ही मॉडलिंग का करियर अपनाया था और उसके बाद इन्होने दूरदर्शन में कुछ समय तक बॉलीवुड रिपोर्टर का काम किया है. डोनल ने दूरदर्शन के चित्रहार में भी एंकरिंग की है. डोनल के माता-पिता को उनका एक्टिंग करियर पसंद नहीं था मगर डोनल ने उनके सामने अपने आप को समय के साथ प्रूव किया। उनके जर्नलिस्ट करियर के दौरान एक बार इन्होने सोनाली बेंद्रे का इंटरव्यू लिया था और इस इंटरव्यू के दौरान स्टारप्लस के कुछ सीनियर लोगों की नज़डोनल पे पड़ी. उनको ये लगा की खूबसूरत डोनल एक एक्टर हैं और फिर उन्होंने इनको अपने एक सीरियल में कास्ट करने के लिए एप्रोच किया. स्टारप्लस ने डोनल को सिया के राम में सीता माता के रोल के लिए लिया था मगर उस समय तडोनल को एक्टिंग नहीं आती थी इसलिए ये रोल उनको नहीं मिल पाया. उनकी सबसे बड़ी प्रॉब्लम शुद्ध हिंदी बोलना था जो की नहीं कर पाई और ऑडिशन से बाहर हो गई. इसके बाद डोनल लगातार ऑडिशन देती रहीं और फिर उनको स्टारप्लस के ही शो एयरलाइन्स में एक जर्नलिस्ट का रोल मिल गया.
2017 में डोनल ने सोनी टीवी के एक दीवाना था में में लीड रोल शरण्य बिष्ट का किरदार निभाया जो की ख़ासा चर्चित हुआ.
2019 में डोनल को द मोस्ट डिज़ाइरबल वुमन में 18वां स्थान मिला.

डोनल ने कुछ ब्रांड्स के लिए फोटोशूट भी किया है जैसे की
स्पाइसजेट, राका, एमटीएनएल आदि.
The charming Donal Bisht was born on August 27, 1994 in Alwar, Rajasthan. In 2015, Donal made his debut in the TV industry with the role of a journalist in the Airlines serial. After that, she played the role of Shanaya Bisht in the serial Ek Deewana Tha and the new face of Ishika Patel in the serial Life Light. During this time, Donal also played an important role as Sarika Dhillion in a story of Sony TV's Crime Patrol (Chal, Episode 723, 724).
Donal's first web series was Tia and Raj in 2020, and later in 2021, she participated in the 25th season of Bigg Boss. On the 15th day, she got evicted from the Bigg Boss house.
Donal's first movie was The Match of July, released in 2021. It took 7 years for this film to be released. After Bigg Boss, Donal worked in a Telugu film called Dear to Sleep. Donal says that she had no plans to work in South Indian films, but it just happened. She feels that the South Indian film industry has evolved a lot and many films today are being remade in Bollywood. So, it is possible that her film may also be remade in Bollywood.
Donal started her modeling career during college and later worked as a Bollywood reporter for some time. She also entered the television industry as an anchor. Her parents were not fond of her acting career but Donal proved herself over time. During her journalist career, she once interviewed Sonali Bendre and some senior people from Star Plus noticed her. They felt that Donal was a beautiful and talented actor and offered her a role in their serial. Star Plus offered Donal the role of Sita Maa in the serial Siya Ke Ram, but at that time Donal was not interested in acting, so she declined the offer. Her biggest problem was speaking fluent Hindi, which she could not achieve, and she was eliminated from the audition. But Donal continued to give auditions and later got a role as a journalist in the Star Plus show Airline.
In 2017, Donal played the lead role as Sharanya Bisht in the popular Sun TV show Deivamagal.
In 2019, Donal was ranked 18th in the Most Desirable Woman list in the Tamil Nadu edition of the annual poll conducted by the Chennai Times.
This year, Donal has appeared in several web series such as The Dark Bond, In the Match of July, The Thought Project and the recently released To Zakhm on MX Player.
Donal has also done photoshoots for brands like SpyzJet, Raka, MTNL, etc.
